What can you watch without paying?
The usual path to this question starts with a clip. A vertical teaser shows up in a social feed, the story cuts away just as it gets interesting, and the official page reveals that episode 3 costs tokens. The good news is that the opening of nearly each series is free, and the free episodes run long enough to judge the story, the look and the pace before spending anything.
In our count of September 24, 2026, 110 of the 111 open series priced their first two episodes at zero tokens. The exception is Simona Rossi: Wrong But Right, which gives away three before the paywall. Creator titles, the ones built on a performer's licensed likeness, follow the same rule even though their paid episodes cost more. Across the open catalog that adds up to 223 free episodes, enough to sample dozens of stories without a subscription. Searches for free Candy AI movies lead to the same place: the Shorts come as numbered series of brief episodes, and the free viewing sits at the start of each one.
The seven Spicy titles work differently. Their cards stay blurred for visitors, and signing up alone does not open them: without Premium the entire series is locked, since its explicit scenes begin in episode 1. Premium members get the first two episodes of each Spicy title without spending tokens. A free account does let you try the chat side of Candy.ai, where a user without a plan can send up to five messages.
How do tokens unlock the rest of a series?
Past the free opening, each episode has a price in tokens, and the price depends on the section of the catalog:
- 12 tokens in the 104 open series of the Candy characters and Other characters sections;
- 30 tokens in the seven open Candy Creators series, built on licensed likenesses of real performers;
- Spicy titles set their own prices: Blackout At My Yacht Party charged 50 tokens per paid episode on September 24, 2026, and Professor Mia the same on September 25.
Tokens come with Premium, which adds 100 to your balance each month. You unlock episodes one at a time as you watch, and the allowance renews with each month of the plan, so a subscriber who keeps it can work through the catalog over time. In practice, 100 tokens open eight standard episodes with 4 left over, or three creator episodes with 10 to spare.
The table shows what it takes to finish a series, assuming the usual free pair at the start:

A five-episode standard story uses about a third of a monthly allowance, so two of them fit in one month with room left. A creator title takes 90 tokens, one per month. The longest open story, My Bestie Betrayed Me, needs close to four months of allowance to reach its final episode.
What does Premium cost?
Candy.ai sells Premium in three terms. These are the US dollar prices its subscription page displayed on September 24, 2026:

The annual card carries the labels "70% OFF" and "BEST VALUE", the quarterly card "35% OFF", both beside a struck-through $13.99. Those markdowns are the discounts Candy.ai itself advertises; this site publishes no coupon codes, and the prices above are the ones the official page shows.
Each plan renews for the same term and amount until you cancel, which the page says you can do from the account settings, and local taxes can apply on top. The charge appears on a bank statement as "EverAI", after EverAI Limited, the company that operates Candy.ai. Beyond the tokens, Premium removes the chat message cap and covers the rest of the platform, from companions you design yourself to generated images and videos, features that fall outside the scope of our reviews.
Is Premium worth the money for the series alone?
That depends on how much you plan to watch, and simple arithmetic on the prices above helps. On the monthly plan, $13.99 buys 100 tokens, which works out to about $1.75 per standard episode and about $4.66 per creator episode. On the annual plan the same allowance costs $3.99 a month, around 50 cents per standard episode and $1.33 per creator one, but the $47.88 leaves your account in a single charge. The quarterly plan lands in between, at roughly $1.12 and $3.
A viewer who wants one creator series, or a couple of five-episode stories, gets there with a single month at $13.99 and can cancel afterward. Someone planning to follow long stories, such as the 15-episode Mona's Worst Enemy or the 34-episode revenge drama, spends several months of allowance anyway, and there a longer term lowers the monthly rate. The allowance stays at 100 tokens a month on each term, so the choice changes the price, not the tokens.

Can you get a refund?
Within narrow limits. Section 10.4 of the terms, revised on September 22, 2026, gives you 24 hours from payment to ask for a refund, and the request is refused once more than 20 tokens have been used, whatever the timing. Only card purchases qualify, and technical problems on the user's side are not grounds for a refund.
Residents of the EU and the UK have a 14-day right of withdrawal on their first purchase, counted from the email that confirms it. The refund covers the amount paid minus a share for the service already used, and renewals fall outside that right.
For the series, the practical lesson is about the 20-token line. Unlocking a single standard episode, at 12 tokens, keeps you under it; a single creator episode, at 30, already goes past it. A viewer who wants to keep the refund option open while deciding should stick to the free episodes and one standard episode.
Where do free full episodes online come from?
Search any title with the words full episodes or free download and you will find pages promising the whole run: reuploads on video sites, links shared in chat channels, files to download. Candy.ai publishes none of them. Its series pages carry no download button, and its player blocks both the context menu and the floating video window.
